Megan Hayes is the Clinical Information Analyst with the Catholic Negotiating Alliance, coordinating the quality and safety benchmark reporting for eight private hospital networks nationally.
Having previously spent four years in information governance and two years in department management, she is passionate about quality data and the role HIMs can play in supporting clinical and operational decision-making.
Having graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Science (Health Information Management) in 2010, over the past six years Megan has worked on various IT and strategic projects including the development of an organisation-wide Health Information Management Framework and EMR Feasibility Study. As a dedicated and enthusiastic member of the profession, Megan has been an active member of the HIM community through her involvement with QUT students, as well as positions on the DRG Technical and HCP/PHDB Workgroups.
