The Health Information Management Association of Australia Limited (HIMAA) collects your personal details for membership and course enrolment purposes only. Personal information in our data base systems is stored securely in the cloud. User names and passwords are securely maintained. All information is protected by our data base vendors; Events Air (membership) and Business Applications (student course enrolments).
Only you or authorised staff members of HIMAA can access your information. HIMAA does not provide your information to a third party without your consent. HIMAA requests that if any of your personal information changes that you advise HIMAA as soon as practicable.

As a Registered Training Organisation, HIMAA must report the Australian Vocational Education and Training Management Information Statistical Standard (AVETMISS) data to the National Vocational Education and Training (VET) Regulator as part of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015. This data is reported to the National Centre for Vocational Education and Research (NCVER). All information reported to NCVER is de identified and used for statistical purposes only.
