Regional Health Information Manager CQ & NQ
Work type: Permanent
Remuneration: Commensurate with experience
Location: Townsville
About the role
Mater is currently seeking an experienced qualified Health Information Manager to lead their clinical coding and medical records teams in North and Central Queensland.
What you’ll be doing
As the Regional Health Information Manager CQ & NQ you have overall operational responsibility for the health information and record management services including clinical coding functions and a support role for medicolegal / release of information functions.
What will you bring to the role at Mater?
To be considered for this role you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. You will have extensive experience in Clinical Coding using current edition of ICD 10 AM and ACHI, coding audits, training of staff and the facilitation of coding education programs in addition to the and leadership and development of a team.
