Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA) is a recognised national member-based professional body for health information management professionals in Australia. We are a not-for-profit organisation based in North Ryde, Sydney. HIMAA has been serving the health profession since 1949 and is governed by a Board of Directors elected by members. We are proud of our exceptional and engaged membership and are seeking a dynamic individual to join the team.

About the Role

Providing high level membership engagement and administration in collaboration with different branches and membership committees, the Membership and Events Officer/Administrator will play an important role in delivering services and benefit programs to our members and contributing to HIMAA’s strategic intent. 

About You 

You are professional, articulate and confident. You like to take initiative and lead by example. Yet you are also adaptable and flexible and thrive on engaging, building and growing a network of members/community with strong stakeholder skills. Your ability to relate and serve your customer base is second to none.

You are consistently being praised for highly organised and seek to understand your members/customers/stakeholders through data-driven initiatives and reporting. You learn new systems very quickly. In fact, people come to you for help – you are known as a bit of a whiz when it comes to technology. A passion for providing optimal user experience and service delivery is important. You are always ready to roll up your sleeves to get things done!

Previous experience in membership is highly valued, however the position also suits a senior administrator who has a high-level computer literacy skill with CRM or accounting systems.
