Providing coding auditing and education within the Clinical Coding Service and to Clinical Directorates across CALHN, including the co-ordination and control of related activities and the standard of work quality/delivery. To provide relevant skills and experience in Clinical Coding education and auditing. This may include issues relating to Health Information Management and Casemix/Activity Based Funding (ABF). The Coding Auditor contributes significantly toward the achievement of revenue optimisation, data quality and the comprehensive Casemix profile within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network.
Successful completion of Advanced ICD-10-AM, ACHI ACS Clinical Coding (HIMAA) or equivalent.
