We are looking for someone to audit and supervise our friendly team of highly organised clinical coders. If you have obtained the HIMAA Clinical Coding Certification qualification and are looking for the next challenge, this may be the ideal role for you.
Our talented team of clinical coders deliver accurate, thorough information for the health of our region. We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Clinical Coder Auditor / Supervisor to join our supportive team of nine.
About the opportunity
You will be responsible for auditing, supervising and providing training and professional leadership to the Otago Clinical Coding team.
The role is a full-time opportunity working between Monday-Friday and is based at Dunedin Hospital.
The successful applicant will be an experienced Clinical Coder holding the HIMAA Certification qualification. A Clinical Coding Auditing qualification (e.g. La Trobe University Short Course in Clinical Coding Auditing) or experience with clinical coding auditing would be an advantage. Experience supervising staff is desirable but not essential.

Salary will be based on qualifications and experience in line with PSA South Island Administrative MECA Clinical Coder scale.
