Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Coder to join our small team on a permanent, full-time basis, working 80 hours a fortnight remotely. The role is responsible for accurate assignment of ICD-10-AM and ACHI codes of all inpatient events in accordance with ACS and NZ Coding Conventions. Hours of work are negotiable between 6.00am - 8.00pm.

You will have comprehensive knowledge of 3M Codefinder Software and its associated features. You will have a certificate from HIMAA in Advanced Clinical Coding, or will have worked for four or more years as a coder at either a secondary or tertiary level hospital. Additionally you will have broad medical knowledge across a range of case-mixes.
You will be a confident and effective communicator with the capability to liaise with a wide range of health professionals. You will have excellent time management skills and proven experience working both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
