We are seeking experienced Clinical Coders to join our Health Information Services team at Healthe care for permanent, remote roles. We currently have a need for flexible and reliable coding staff to work across multiple sites and specialties supporting leave coverage and KPI requirements.
Responsibilities / Duties:
In this role you will be required to provide accurate and timely coding of diagnosis and procedures for a variety of hospitals across Healthe Care, using current coding standards and a scanned record.
You will report to the National Health Information Manager, but will be a team player who can also engage and collaborate with the staff on site to achieve our targets.

To succeed in this role you will have a Cert IV qualification in Clinical Coding, Bachelor of Health Information Management or other recognised coding qualification with extensive experience. Highly developed interpersonal skills and problem solving abilities are essential. You will have a proven track record for coding competency and meeting KPI’s. Although the role/s are predominantly remote, rarely, some onsite presence may be negotiated during times of critical scanning shortages .
