The Tasmanian Health Service is seeking a Senior Clinical Coder – Auditor/Educator to join its statewide Clinical Coding team. Our team utilises a statewide PAS, scanned medical record along with other statewide clinical information systems. There is the opportunity to be based in the north, north west or south of the state, so if you are looking for a change of scenery this could be the perfect opportunity!
You will primarily be responsible for:
- Auditing clinical coding data within the specifications of the Agency’s Clinical Coding Auditing Framework.
- Providing clinical coding training and education activities to the Clinical Coding team as well as support and mentoring to the clinical coding team members, including trainee clinical coders.
You will be supported in your role by the Clinical Coding Managers team, along with your Clinical Coding colleagues across the state.
