Description

Health Information Services are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Health Information Manager to join the HIS Management team to manage the Scanning Centre.

This position will be responsible for the administration and management of the daily functions of the Scanning Centre. The primary function is to ensure clinical information is available for viewing on SMR within a timely manner, reducing clinical risk and working towards an integrated medical record. Additionally the role is responsible for the effective management of the Duplicate UR workflow, Health Records research requests area.

This is a permanent full time position, Monday to Friday.

About You:

  • Qualifications required; Bachelor of Health Information Management (or equivalent).
  • Experience in staff management is essential.
  • Suitable applicants must have excellent communication skills, high attention to detail with a willingness to learn and embrace change.
