It is my great pleasure to invite you to attend the 2012 HIMAA National Confrence to be held at the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa, Surfers Paradise, Queensland from the 29th - 31st October 2012.

2012 promises further progress of the Australian healthcare reform initiatives and the conference theme, Surfing the Wave of Health Reform, focuses on the central role of Health Information Management to the reform agenda.

The program will include keynote presentations from leading figures in the reform agenda, plenary presentations, workshop sessions and a trade exhibition as well as stimulating social and networking activities.

The conference will focus on a broad range of health information management touch points to the health reform agenda, including a stream related to clinical coding, classification and activity based funding.

The topics to be presented will be of interest to a broad of individuals working within the healthcare industry.
